Black and White... Those were your favourite colours....its funny how you meet someone and you fall in love with them and then the next minute, they are no longer there. Ijeoma, i look right beside me at your desk,and your sit is empty. It has been empty for some days. You told me you were gonna sign that document when you get back on monday...the document is still here waiting...my heart is broken, there is a huge scar right there. You always told me ' Do you think I am just your Boss?, I am your Sister', yes indeed you were. I look all around me and everything reminds me of you. I would give anything for those our side talks, for those early morning hugs we shared..would give anything for you to call me your little rat again,would give anything for you to pose and let me take a picture of you over and over again, would give anything....Its amazing how i could tell what was on your mind by your facial expressions and that used to amaze you right? We were connected in that way. We had big dreams and you you always told me 'Funmi, don't worry we are going places' yes you did. Everytime you displayed one of those your crazy dance steps or were having one of your moments, I will look at you and shake my head and you'll tell me ' Thats how i used to shake my head for my mum' and we will laugh so hard about it. We always looked out for each other and you tagged us as 'The bow legged team'.I learnt everything I know from you. Can you remember those arrangements you were making for me? You always wanted to hear my views and opinion about everything. You always said 'If no one will tell me the truth, Funmi will'....Ijeoma where are you? You will always tell me 'Funmi lets pray about it. I know Paslm 91 by heart because you told myself and Unwana to learn it during one of our praying sessions... Who can fill this void? What can take away this pain? We talked about everything Life, love,family, pain,work,friendship...everything... I dont know if I will ever meet anyone like you again in my lifetime but one thing i know for sure is that i cherish every moment we spent together, I am happy you lived your life to the fullest and did things that made you happy..
